My background started in computer engineering. That kind of taught me how to think critically and work with complex systems. I later pursued dentistry where I’ve now been practicing for about 10 years.
I’m committed to lifelong learning and I regularly take courses in areas like cosmetic dentistry, digital workflows, and advanced restorative techniques. Staying current helps me deliver the best possible care. Continuing education allows me to bring modern proven techniques to every appointment.
Whether it’s using digital scanning for more comfortable impressions or applying new methods in cosmetic or implant dentistry, I always want to provide care that’s precise, gentle, and effective. I’ve always been drawn to solving problems and helping people feel their best. Dentistry allows me to combine science, art, and service in a way that directly improves lives.
It’s about more than just teeth. It’s about confidence, comfort, and building trust. I love working with my hands and using precision and care to make a real difference for each person who walks through the door.
It also helps me explain things clearly so patients feel informed and in control of their treatment. The most rewarding aspect of dentistry is seeing the transformation. Whether it’s relieving someone’s pain or giving them a smile they’re proud of, that impact is incredibly meaningful.

Zade Faraj, DDS
Dr. Zade Faraj brings many areas of advanced training and expertise, including restorative dentistry and esthetics, to Studio Z Dental. Even more important, Dr. Faraj offers outstanding care to all. He has an understanding way of being with patients, along with his excellent dental work.
He believes in comprehensive care that is gentle, thoughtful and always of the highest quality for his patients. He feels privileged to help patients obtain their oral health goals in a comfortable, tailored manner.
Dr. Faraj was born in Houston, TX, but he spent his early years in London, England before returning to the States. He attended the University of Houston, where he graduated summa cum laude. During these formative years, he realized his enthusiasm for dentistry. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Dr. Faraj received extensive training from world-renowned faculty in esthetics, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry. He was nominated for the Vernetti award for excellence in operative dentistry, and several of his esthetic clinical cases were documented for publication.
Upon graduating, he was immediately offered a position by the dental school as a part-time assistant clinical professor, where he served as a course director and clinical faculty for over two years. His work to improve student learning was recognized and adopted by the university.

With a family spread all across the globe, Dr. Faraj is enthusiastic to build roots here in Colorado with his wife and daughter. He is an artist, a lover of travel, and all things tech. In his free time, he enjoys weight training, programming, being outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends. Some say he resembles a younger George Clooney. It’s one of those situations where I didn’t even realize how mediocre (at best) my previous dental care was until I experienced excellent care. Everyone was so thorough and walked me through all of my images and things to watch and put me in the driver seat. The dentist spent a significant time with me, which I have never experienced before. Typically the dentist is in and out and the majority of my time is spent with the hygienist. I’m also glad I switched because a few things that are kind of serious have been overlooked my years by my previous dentist. It’s definitely more of an investment because my insurance only covers a fraction of the preventive care here, but well worth every penny.

I am a nurse at the CCRM Fertility of Louisville and this office is located close to work and where I live. Free parking, I have always used street parking because of the convenience. Dr. F uses modern techniques to digitally measure the size of a tooth, and when I started at this office, he was my third dentist in a year because of a messed up molar crown. He got it right the first time! No worries about chewing or biting, it’s been a few years. My mouth has amalgam fillings from the 1970s and early 1980s. Yes, I’m afraid of letting someone use tools in my mouth. Dr. F saw me the same day when an upper tooth cracked and broke. It was not possible to fix it on the same day, but the compassion of this dentist and his team is remarkable. I received a temporary filling and just knowing that my problem is him concern made me feel better, regardless of the outcome. I want to preserve the tooth and it seems like it’s possible. Enough of the root is healthy, even with so much mercury filling. Long live Dr. F and his team at Louisville Studio Z Dental.

I’m a relatively new patient but I’ve been very happy with Studio Z. Last cleaning they showed me something on an x-ray and said I probably need to have a root canal replaced… since I am not a dentist and can’t read x-rays, I wasn’t sure what I was seeing. And since I didn’t have any pain, and didn’t want to experience the pain of a root canal, I opted to wait it out. Of course, a month later I woke up with excruciating pain in that tooth and ended up back at Studio Z! Amazingly, they told me I could just come right over! I had a new root canal done 2 days later and feel back to normal. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is “listen to the experienced people trained to look at x-rays of teeth!” 🙂 And Studio Z is full of those people.
