She listened carefully to all my concerns, and told me in detail everything she would do to remove the mercury filling and give me a crown. Once I scheduled it, I had more questions, and the staff at Studio Z were very patient and kind in answering all of them. Dr. Sonaty is very knowledgeable, thoughtful and skilled at what she does, so my actual dental procedure turned out to be painless! And I felt safe with the state of the art equipment they used to remove the mercury. Keely, who was the hygienist who assisted Dr. Sonaty, made me very comfortable during the couple of hours I was there. I would highly recommend Studio Z Dental for anyone wanting the most up to date dental care, and a comfortable experience.

Wow. I just switched over it Studio Z for a more holistic dental experience, but what I didn’t realize was how much this would elevate my overall dental experience. It’s one of those situations where I didn’t even realize how mediocre (at best) my previous dental care was until I experienced excellent care. Everyone was so thorough and walked me through all of my images and things to watch and put me in the driver seat. The dentist spent a significant time with me, which I have never experienced before. Typically the dentist is in and out and the majority of my time is spent with the hygienist. I’m also glad I switched because a few things that are kind of serious have been overlooked my years by my previous dentist. It’s definitely more of an investment because my insurance only covers a fraction of the preventive care here, but well worth every penny.

I am a nurse at the CCRM Fertility of Louisville and this office is located close to work and where I live. Free parking, I have always used street parking because of the convenience. Dr. F uses modern techniques to digitally measure the size of a tooth, and when I started at this office, he was my third dentist in a year because of a messed up molar crown. He got it right the first time! No worries about chewing or biting, it’s been a few years. My mouth has amalgam fillings from the 1970s and early 1980s. Yes, I’m afraid of letting someone use tools in my mouth. Dr. F saw me the same day when an upper tooth cracked and broke. It was not possible to fix it on the same day, but the compassion of this dentist and his team is remarkable. I received a temporary filling and just knowing that my problem is him concern made me feel better, regardless of the outcome. I want to preserve the tooth and it seems like it’s possible. Enough of the root is healthy, even with so much mercury filling. Long live Dr. F and his team at Louisville Studio Z Dental.

I’m a relatively new patient but I’ve been very happy with Studio Z. Last cleaning they showed me something on an x-ray and said I probably need to have a root canal replaced… since I am not a dentist and can’t read x-rays, I wasn’t sure what I was seeing. And since I didn’t have any pain, and didn’t want to experience the pain of a root canal, I opted to wait it out. Of course, a month later I woke up with excruciating pain in that tooth and ended up back at Studio Z! Amazingly, they told me I could just come right over! I had a new root canal done 2 days later and feel back to normal. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is “listen to the experienced people trained to look at x-rays of teeth!” 🙂 And Studio Z is full of those people.

By far the best dental office I’ve visited. All the staff are very kind and more than willing to answer any questions and help you feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend for anyone that’s had a bad dentist experience. Jyssica was happy to answer any questions I had and address any anxieties, and Sam (at the front desk) is very welcoming and warm. Every time I come I feel welcomed, listened to, and respected.
